Distance Learning: Teaching theory

May I take this opportunity to pass on a bit of praise for your books. One of our managers told me yesterday that it was the best workbook she had ever used: Plain English; easy to dip in and out so using relevant chapters when needed; excellent information; well presented. Nothing she would change.
Mary Austin, Devon County Council

As well as offering online courses, we have the following courses available as distance learning workbooks. Each book comes with a unique number which unlocks an online question module. Once you have passed the question module, this triggers the release of the certificate which you can print off.

SUPPORT THE USE OF MEDICATION IN SOCIAL CARE SETTINGS – All Care Settings

This course is suitable for all care settings (care homes, community settings and day services). We recently updated this course (and had it accredited by the Royal College of Nursing). However, we decided to move it to an online only course (as customers found it easier to access this way). It’s now called our Foundation Course in Medicines Administration (click here). You can also access it (along with our other online courses) using the button below:

SUPPORT THE USE OF MEDICATION IN SOCIAL CARE SETTINGS – Community Settings

The community version of this course is still available as a printed workbook. It is aimed at staff who only work in community settings such as home care, reablement, supported living, personal assistants etc.
