Workbooks

We provide some of our online courses as workbooks as some people prefer a physical copy of a book.

How are workbooks assessed?

Each book comes with an online assessment. Once you purchase your workbook(s), we will email you a link to the online assessment questions. Once you pass, you can download your certificate as a PDF and print it off if you wish.

We also have paper assessments if you don’t have computer access. Click the button below to access them

MEDICINES KNOWLEDGE: ANTICOAGULANTS AND OTHER HIGH-RISK MEDICINES - WORKBOOK

CQC expect you to have a certain level of knowledge about the medicines you administer. As a starting point, you need to know where to go for reliable medicines information. In addition, you should also know about those medicines which carry a higher-risk to those you support. The course will get you familiar with these so called “higher risk” medicines: what problems to lookout for, how to monitor these medicines and what to do if things go wrong.

May I take this opportunity to pass on a bit of praise for your books. One of our managers told me yesterday that it was the best workbook she had ever used: Plain English; easy to dip in and out so using relevant chapters when needed; excellent information; well presented. Nothing she would change.

As well as offering online courses, we have the following courses available as distance learning workbooks. Each book comes with a unique number which unlocks an online question module. Once you have passed the question module, this triggers the release of the certificate which you can print off.
