This practical workshop teaches how to manage and a seizure using buccal midazolam. The course is delivered by an experienced pharmacist or nurse.
Theory is taught using video content, case studies, discussion, and a comprehensive workbook with a written assessment on the day.
The trainer assesses each person’s competence to treat a seizure individually at the end of the workshop.
The workbook provided also teaches epilepsy awareness (as required by the Epilepsy Nurse’s Association Guidelines).
